In February 2016, nearly 200 units of new energy buses with Microvast battery system have been put into operation in 6 cities of Zhejiang Province includes Hangzhou, Ningbo, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Taizhou, Wenzhou. Those fleet of e-buses runs in major bus throughout the country, which replaced the traditional fuel buses.
Among those buses, 70% is full electric buses, 10-15 minute of ultra fast charging those buses in terminus during driver shifts several times every day will not effect the operation and also provides necessary electric drive range, which is the only way towards full electric bus operation.
Today, fast charging electric bus has become an important way of city transit operation, it is not only suitable for city transit, but also being diversification, which contributes to cleaner city and fresher air.
