Market-leading, all-in-one integrated battery pack MV-I

The MV-I battery pack is designed for buses and commercial vehicle applications. The pack provides flexibility with easy installation on the roof, in the engine bay, or between/beside the chassis rails.

Performance advantages:

  • Self-contained, integrated cooling plate minimizes risk of coolant leakage into the battery pack.
  • Lightweight design incorporates innovative technology that increases energy density up to 180 Wh/kg while maintaining the robustness required for commercial applications.
  • Integrated Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) provides significantly higher modularity and flexibility for vehicle integration (with multi-string management system to cover the widest range of energy on board from 62 kWh to 640 kWh with similar system architecture).

Our MV-B and MV-C Gen 4 battery packs deliver approximately 20% more energy and power while maintaining similar dimensions to their predecessors. The MV-B and MV-C packs are available as turn-key systems designed for the rigorous requirements of commercial vehicles, providing improved thermal management and safety control, fulfilling the new thermal runaway safety standards.

The MV-B and MV-C battery packs contain high-energy and high-power battery cell technology the MpCO-48Ah (high power) and HpCO-53.5Ah (high energy) cells respectively. Our advanced battery cells can be easily integrated into the new Gen 4 battery packs. The high-level compatibility we provide allows our customers to switch battery technology based on operating requirements without significant changes to the powertrain design.

The MV-B and MV-C battery packs are designed to meet diversified technical requirements across the commercial vehicle segment, providing our customers with the ability to consolidate their cell and pack technology.
