Requirement Engineer

As a Requirements Engineer, also called a Requirements Manager, you accompany the development of new applications or the updating of existing systems from the idea to the implementation. With the help of a catalogue of requirements and through targeted work by all those involved, you guarantee that a functioning, efficient and legally compliant solution will be developed.

Your new Challenges:

  • Analyze as Requirements Engineer *, the technical and non-technical customer requests to the battery management system
  • Develop new concepts, solutions and be responsible for comprehensive requirements management in cooperation with product managers, development managers and project managers
  • Take over the approval of the requirements after the review has been completed with the project team
  • Analysis of the standards for battery system and compliance with the development process according to IATF 16949
  • You carry out error and change management and are responsible for reporting the status of the specifications and implementation status

 

Your Profile:

  • A degree in vehicle technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, IT or a comparable qualification
  • Bring a strong technical understanding of automotive control units for series products as well as experience in automotive requirements engineering
  • Competent in supplier / customer contact and with the automotive software development process according to ASPICE
  • Ideally, you bring knowledge of functional safety according to ISO26262 and / or battery management systems
  • In addition to collegiality and a high level of commitment, you are also characterized by communication skills in German and English
